Overview

Fidelighty proudly partners with Ameren Illinois to help commercial and industrial customers lower their lighting upgrade costs through instant discounts and incentive programs. These programs are designed to make it easier for businesses to switch to energy-efficient LED lighting, reduce energy use, and save on upfront installation costs — all without complicated paperwork or long wait times.

Only customers who receive their electricity and/or natural gas through the Ameren Illinois distribution system are eligible to participate. If your business operates in an area served by an electric cooperative, municipal utility, or other provider, Ameren Illinois incentives do not apply. Available Lighting Incentive Channels

Instant Incentives (Midstream Lighting Program)

The Instant Incentives program offers point-of-purchase discounts on select lighting equipment when purchased through a participating distributor — no rebate forms or post-purchase paperwork required.

Eligible equipment includes:

• LED linear tubes (replacing T8 and T5 fluorescents)
• LED wall packs
• LED 4-pin base lamps for CFL replacements
• LED exit signs
• LED mogul bases (E39 replacements for HID lamps) ... and more!

Discounts are automatically applied at checkout when purchasing from a registered Ameren Illinois distributor. Fidelighty can verify eligibility and ensure your business receives the maximum discount available.

Standard Lighting Program

The Standard Program provides incentives for customers upgrading entire fixtures or systems rather than just lamps. These incentives are ideal for larger projects in warehouses, offices, and industrial spaces.

Key benefits include:

• $0.50 per watt reduced incentive for qualifying LED fixture upgrades
• Support for Networked Lighting Controls (NLCs) and Luminaire Level Lighting Controls (LLLCs)
• Requirement that installed equipment is DLC listed

This program is best suited for businesses completing full fixture upgrades, retrofits, or lighting control installations.

Small Business Direct Install (SBDI)

The Small Business Direct Install program helps smaller businesses — including retail stores, restaurants, offices, and local municipalities — save money by covering a large portion of project costs.

Program highlights:

• Up to $1 per watt reduced incentive for eligible upgrades
• Average projects have 80% of costs covered by Ameren Illinois
• In 2024, 46% of SBDI projects were completed at no cost to the customer
• FREE on-site energy consultation and simplified process

This program is limited to non-residential rate codes DS-2 and DS-3A, which can be verified from your electric bill.
